Kerrighed 2.0.0rc1 is out !

After a long long time, Kerrighed 2.0.0rc1 has finally been released !

This version is the first 2.6 version, based on Linux 2.6.11.
A port on 2.6.20 is ongoing and should be over soon.

The version 1.0.2 of Kerrighed was the latest "pure research" version designed
as a proof of concept of what we can do in Kerrighed. This version was quite
well featured but not stable enough to be considered as a production quality
product.

The 2.x.x Kerrighed serie is a new start toward a real production quality
Kerrighed.

Since 2006 we are working at making Kerrighed strong enough to be used in a
production environment. To do so, we have temporarily disabled some features
to fasten the release of a stable version. Disabled features will be
re-enabled in the next few months.

The 2.0.0 version is the first release of this new "generation" of Kerrighed.
It is still not stable enough to be considered as a production quality
product, but this is the first step to reach this goal. We hope having the
first "production quality" Kerrighed for this summer.
